Instructions
Describe your invention in detail with written descriptions and drawings showing all aspects of the invention. A provisional application does not require formal patent claims, an oath, or an information disclosure statement. Filing fee is $320 (small entity) or $160 (micro entity). You must file a non-provisional patent application within 12 months or the provisional application expires. The provisional is never examined and never becomes a patent on its own.
