Employers must provide fall protection systems for employees working at heights of six feet or more above a lower level in construction. Acceptable fall protection systems include guardrail systems, safety net systems, and personal fall arrest systems.
Employers must also protect workers from falling objects and provide training to recognize fall hazards and use fall protection equipment properly. Each employee must be trained by a competent person qualified in fall protection.
