Commercial motor vehicle drivers are limited to 11 hours of driving after 10 consecutive hours off duty. Drivers may not drive beyond the 14th consecutive hour after coming on duty. A 30-minute break is required after 8 cumulative hours of driving.

Property-carrying drivers may not drive after 60/70 hours on duty in 7/8 consecutive days. The restart provision allows drivers to reset the 60/70-hour clock after taking 34 or more consecutive hours off duty. Electronic logging devices (ELDs) are required to record driving time.
